Octopuses have two eyes and four pairs of arms and, like other cephalopods, they are bilaterally symmetric. An octopus has a hard beak, with its mouth at the center point of the arms.

- In both levels they never swim, staying in the same place.
- They can still hurt the player, even if they're not moving from where they are.
- In Anemones and Octo, judging by where it stays, the Octopus may be hurting the player because it goes into it's nest.
- They are the only animal that can swim in real life, but don't swim in game.
